The special shape in combination with expanding glue pockets and longitudinal grooves gives the dowels a secure grip. For absolutely twist-proof connections and maximum stability. Added to this is significantly faster processing: The first dowel hole is aligned with extreme ease and routed accurately using flip stops. It immediately secures the workpieces that are to be joined so that they are exact and flush with the edge. The DOMINO system even tolerates smaller imprecisions in the other dowel holes.
The D14x75 dowels are perfectly matched to the corner and surface connector system for the DOMINO XL DF 700 joining machine, so there’s no need to switch between dowel routing and connector routing.
They provide further load transfer in addition to the connectors
The cross cut of a DOMINO dowel corresponds to that of three round dowels of the same drill diameter, meaning that it is extremely steady in comparison
The laterally projecting guide ribs centre the dowel in the middle of the DOMINO milling groove and thus ensure perfect alignment of workpieces
