The HSA 40 battery-powered hedge trimmer is an extremely light hedge trimmer with excellent cutting performance, designed for smaller hedge maintenance jobs around the garden, such as trimming box hedges and maintaining annual growth. It’s part of the AS System and powered by a removable lithium-ion battery that can also be used in other tools in the range, such as the GTA 26 garden pruner and SEA 20 hand vacuum.

The HSA 40 has great balance which makes for effortless work, and you can check the charge status of the battery during use by pressing the indicator button on the side of the hedge trimmer.  The HSA 40 is fitted with a 50 cm double-sided, single-edged cutting blade and a cutting capacity of 8mm – plus, it has an additional 25% compared to the HSA 30 hedge trimmer. Additional features include a tip protector and laser-cut diamond-ground hardened blades, both of which come as standard on the two models. On a full charge you’ll be able to trim for up to 40 minutes with the HSA 40.
